There was a very interesting talk given during the recent Aviation Festival here in Orkney, titled ‘Watching over the Flow: Radar in Orkney during World War 2′.
Ian Brown, curator of the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune, gave the talk, and would be a good person to consult - he's done a lot of work on the radar side of things up here.
